I have found a recent fondness for medals, at least the ones in the C&C sets. I do plan to get this release. Other than that, I also keep to the coins.

I can never see myself collecting Euros because of how many they are. I could also never see myself completing any series of West German coins because they are so boring and there are tons of date/mintmark combinations.

I feel like the whole world has gone off the deep end with commemoratives since the 80s or 90s. It's fun when you have a few designs to try to collect, but it hurts my head to even think about how large a complete Canadian commemorative set would be.
