Getting non-positive feedback is one way that these sellers get punished for stating in the listing what has supposedly been found in other rolls, then not delivering a roll with similar coins.
However, the seller makes no promise that you will get what they found in other rolls.
If you got 49 wheat cents, and you got a guarantee of 50 cents, you got shorted 1¢. Is this significant? Really?
FREE ADVICE: Don't buy rolls of wheat cents on
ebay. If you need a specific date, buy that date. There are no sellers that are going to sell rolls that REALLY might contain valuable coins. There are a LOT of sellers that are trying to make a profit off of selling common date wheat cents my implying that the roll has miraculously escaped being stripped of the valuable coins.
