This ebay seller was selling world coin lots for $8.33 plus shipping. He had multiple lots, and I chose this one. It has a half-dime in the picture, with an O mint mark.

Was it worth it? All the earlier half-dimes are around $20 catalog value in G

I don't think the half-dime is dateless, I can faintly see what looks like 1857.

I think that you should be fine. That Half Dime is really the only thing of value in that lot. Those world coins arent worth a lot.

As mentioned above, the hard dime would be the coin that
would be the deciding factor for this being a good deal.

I tried zooming in on the Half Dime, but could not tell how much
detail is left on the coin.

That Half Dime looks very worn. The value is probably closer to $10 than $20. Could you post better pictures when you receive it in hand?

I noticed one of the coins was a 1936 Edward VIII piece.

this thread should be in the World Coin section, in fact I had moved it there originally. Since you're asking about a US Classic coin, guess it can stay.

The price for the item was $4.33, and shipping was $4 therefore I spent $8.33

Definitely will post pics when I get it.

Yeah, I saw that Edward VIII coin too. Not that rare, but I think it'll get decent demand.
