Frankly, 60% of the listings on ebay could be melted. I have relied on ebay for most of the Canadian coins in my collection but I have basically stopped looking because I see the same tired, hacked up junk week after week after week after week. I suppose that a lot of hopeful people are trying to supplement their incomes by operating an ebay store but they ought to realize that a coin that has been listed for two years probably isn't going to sell. Rant over.

I've learned one man's slug is another man's collectable.

No those are actually quite collectible .......coin cards . I am still looking for the Canada and US post cards with the exchange rates and all the different coins. There is a post card for just about every country of the early 20th century. Deltioligists affectionately call them Coin Post Cards"

It`s not a postcard. It's a foil imprint mounted on cardstock, the other side usually contains erroneous coin information. Not a very faithful imprint and the other Canadian ones with the erroneous info intact show a better image. Not worth collecting.
Pacificcoin, in your early days as a dealer did you ever send out or receive foil rubbings of coins?

Actually I'd say the 1910 quarter is collectible because the date is at least visible. Most quarters in that condition have the date worn off.
