Although I have only collected ancients for a short period, I have wanted this coin since grade school. I saw an example of this coin on a cover of a book when in grade school and thought it would be so cool to own. I don't know why, but it has taken me nearly a lifetime to get one. This one so caught my eye and I had to have it.

Well congrats, Doug. Long overdue pick-up, then.

SMANB mintmark? Antioch?

Thanks! As best as I can tell, it is Antioch. Antioch and Thessalonica are becoming my favorite mints. Rome is up there too. London is the next mint that I do not have that I want to pick up.

Must feel nice to get it out of the way. Nice examples are tough to come across, but it's just about impossible to get a lot of LRBs without getting at least a few of these.
