Went out and did a marathon of shopping this morning early. When I got home, I saw footprints around the mailbox. I did not have this set so I was delighted to see this- 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic Uncirculated Set of $2 Coins. Great design. From last year's winner T1Steel Thank you very kindly, keeping the tradition going north of the border.    |

Great big ole pile of CCF NFL Pool Booty arrived in the last two days. It was so much fun opening one after the other and laying them out on the envelopes. I am truly thankful for all the prizes received. I have some pictures to share.  sjlundcoin Excellent variety of bullion, proof and circulation strikes with a 2016 roll of cents to boot.    johntookit Nice Die Cracks on both reverse and obverse of that 1888 Morgan, and great 1818 Half with edge lettering. Too kind, again. Palindromic Certificate Number, extra cool.        I looked up the 1818 Half and it noted edge lettering so I had to look, it is a cool coin with die trails all around the legend.   Mayflower2020 Neither Denver, Philly nor Buffalo are playing this winter. Rex Ryan gone. Wonderful modern rolls of Buffalo nickels from both Denver and Philly mints.   CLS12 I will make that a Large Double Single on you. Great coins, first Mercs and Barber dimes, loving the Edwardian/George V and VI Canadian Coins, awesome, thanks a bunch.    Edited by SilverDon

Mine is missing too.... Should have sent it Pony Express. I'm sure it would have been faster than "the" USPS.

Because Christmas and Boxing Day were on the weekend, there were two days off in lieu for Canada Post. There will be another for New Years Day to be taken off on Monday. I will post as soon as they arrive.  Edited by SilverDon

Looking at the 1964 Dime from CLS12 and noticed a lot of tool marks from die polishing, all over the reverse and obverse. This looks like a blunt 9 variety with a D/D South RPM #9 possibly. Let me know if I am far off. Great to learn more about US coins.       |
