I Recently picked this up. Double strikes are common on 69 and 79 but haven't seen one in the 50s before.

I have several George VI 1-cent coins like this - and one from the early 1960s (mint state no less) but this will be my first one from the 1950s - I think I can restore it as well...

Oh yes you can... I don't raise my bid card if things get crazy... there was a double struck George VI cent in a Torex auction earlier this year - it sold for way too much given the condition it was in (I did not buy it).
