Update: arthistorian17 received high def images of the San Francisco "Twin Bicentennial" medal a few weeks ago for the publishing project she's working on, which she described in an email: Quote: I am an author for a forthcoming book on arts and cultural production around the 1976 United States Revolution Bicentennial that will be published with Yale University Press in 2026. Among the many objects discussed in our book is the Spero Anargyros San Francisco Bicentennial Coin that you shared a photo of on Coin Community.

MACO # 1952-057, by Wheeler Williams, for the Prudential Insurance Company's Houston, TX, Southwest Hqs building. A fountain in front of the building included the "Wave of Life" sculpture which in turn lead to a commission for the medallion. The building was taken over by the University of Texas' M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in 1974 and demolished in 2012: Additional information about the sculptor can be found here: https://medallicartcollector.com/wh...ography.htmlA photo of the fountain sculpture is in the "Other Works" tab at the above link. The full dimensions of the NGC slab are 4.75" W x 6.75 " H; it weighs 16 oz.
