The West Point Association of Graduates presents a Slyvanus Thayer Award annually:

Since 1958, the West Point Association of Graduates has presented the SYLVANUS THAYER AWARD to an outstanding citizen of the United States whose service and accomplishments in the national interest exemplify personal devotion to the ideals expressed in the West Point motto: DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY.

Cardinal Spellman received the award in 1967.

Not that I'm aware of, but It would be great if someone knew about one and shared the info!

The American Numismatic Society has a MACO Archives page from which you can access PDF files that illustrate many of the hundreds of medals produced by MACO over the years - but the listings do not include mintage figures.
