You ever post photos of your Whitman Roman Album?

I for one would love to see it.

GR58, as usual, your photos and your posts are an inspiration. I knew you had a lot of Danscos but 74! Wow!

I never have and never will buy a coin (coins) at a whim. I always do my research before shopping and stick to my list.

I would call it collecting But on a much grander scale
If you have a very large collection that covers many different areas you tend to forget where you are with them.
Rediscovering sections of a larger collection is half the Fun, At least it is for me

I have 74 Dansco albums.

And I thought I was special with about a dozen that I have.

Maybe less than a dozen, quite actually.

WOW GR58! You has amassed quite a grand collection over the last 40 years!

I am a long time collector off and on over the last 40 years but my collection is rather tiny but I do enjoy it. I went to the Orlando coin show yesterday and got side tracked. Came home with a few that wasn't on my "need for albums" list but I had fun

74 Danscos! I too feel like I have "a lot" with around a dozen or so.

Thanks all

I should say ... over the past 40 ... almost 50 years. Many of the coin no
I buy are bought with funds from doing odd jobs or metal detecting change.
Lately the from working part time at the coin shops and casino winnings.

I am sure the collectors that have the funds to buy higher grade coins
Would not think much of what I have accumulated ... but I do enjoy it.
I like filling the empty holes

Sometimes my wife shares her winnings, like this one from two weeks ago.

But I am curious if others ever have crazy days, where it is hard to say no.

Yes, I have had a few. And still not regretting any of my purchases made those days.

Anyway, nice coins you bought! And 74 Dansco albums... I didn't even know they still had so many around these days.

There are still a few more I don't have, that I might try someday.

Don't have the albums for Seated Liberty dime, quarter and halves.

There are many older albums I watch for. I have a 7110,
but want one in better shape ... no writing on pages.

I might try some other foreign type albums.

I do have a feeling I will down size in a few years.
I would like to focus more on a core set of albums.
Complete some that are only missing a few coins, than
go into full upgrade mode.

Some of the albums I started last year have a lot of
empty holes. Those I have been slowly filling as the coins
come into the local coin shops.

Hard part for me, I am taking some of the better value coins
out of the Dansco's and moving them to Bank boxes. For now
I feel safer doing this. Even though there are empty holes.

Here are some older pictures .. but I have more Dansco's since
these were taken.
