I am pretty sure that this is a 1972 IKE variety 2 dollar, but I wanted someone else to agree with me :) What do you think?

Based on your pic, if the coin is a 1972 P business strike then yes the reverse is the rare Type2.

Here is some info on the 3 different reverses.

Not sure why these are not showing? They are loaded correctly.
Figured it out. Something with the software will not load a tag with PCGD or NGC in the address. It used to work, but now I have to remove that from the address in order to post the image. Why? I don't know. So don't include that in you naming of the images.

As long as the coin pictured is a business strike coin,
Looks like a type 2

Definitely a business strike. I picked up 100 IKEs from someone who was going to just roll them and take them to the bank - this was the only type 2 in the bunch though :)

I think it would get at least an XF 40. Under magnification, it seems to have several 'bag marks'...so I think it's been shuffled around a lot, but not circulated much. Either way, I think this is probably the most valuable thing I've ever 'found' - using that term kind of loosely, but it was in coins I was looking through and hadn't bought.
