Thanks - what doesn't really show here is the luster, which just radiates, especially on the obverse. I've owned many of these over a long life, but this one I decided was worth keeping.

Coinfrog, that coin just made me drool so much the floor collapsed into a giant sinkhole....my goodness, what a coin! My non-VDB (sadly) but still decent Lincoln. I don't own a 1909-S IHC (yet - it's the last one I need for my Dansco/complete IHC set) or a S-VDB (too much money.) 1909-S S/Horizontal S LWC, PCGS MS 62 BN. Chocolate/some woodgrain toning with deep coppery brown luster that doesn't really come through well in the photos. 1909-S Barber half dollar. Circulated.

I forgot to post this yesterday, so here it is. An ugly, cleaned 1909-S Lincoln.

jbuck - Super original example, hard to imagine one better for the grade.
Adam - Thanks; that '09-S/S is distinctive as well.

A rare post in this thread for me. 1910 S Lincoln found in circulation a long time ago.
