@onecad
Until you see your credit card charged or an email stating that they shipped your coin, I wouldn't hold my breath. If they did over sell then it would be on a first ordered basis. I do hope you get one.

@ spacetoyota, Sure, but that would hold true regardless of where you placed the order but if you prefer to pay $600+ from a dealer instead of $559.95 from CP, fill your boots.

Canada Post is RCM's biggest client. They probably received a lot of the singles vs the subscriptions.

The Coin Shoppe still has Single available for $599, free shipping, accepting Paypal.
It is easy to find 3% discount code. Another $18 off on this coin.
Gatewest is selling $600 + shipping, credit card only.
p.s. Canada Post is accepting too many orders on Goose SD. not 100% guarantee for shipping because of past experience of CP's oversold.

Canada Post sort of is the RCM's dumping ground, popular issues like the gold superman they have no idea of allotment and eventually cancelled orders.

Quote: I order a lot from Canada Post on-line and have not had a problem. I order lot of things from Canada Post and got no problems 99% of the time. But they were for non-hot items. Have you ordered the 5 oz Farewell coin? I got my order cancelled as did many others. Since the Goose coin is so hot, I don't see how CP can fulfilled all orders unless they get a huge allotment from the Mint.

I would assume cc&c and Canada post would have received more than other dealers, but who really knows. Apparently even the mint doesn't know how many they have available.

I remember seeing the coloured big coin loonie on the Canada Post website for a couple of months before it sold out and that had a much lower mintage, same with the big coin toonie, so maybe Canada Post has gotten 50-100 coins or so from the 2,150 goose big coin allotment. That is just a rough number, it may be more or may be less, I'm not sure how many people are ordering the coin.

After watching that presentation I feel like running out to get a set of the 1967 Big coins.
The Goose coin looks great, better in hand than only pictures.
At one point it was at 267 units, now down to 80 right now.
BTW, Steve Bromberg said the set was his idea.
Price is $559 per coin, wooden box comes with first coin. You have to subscribe to set. No idea if you can cancel.
