So 500 to the shopping channel, and 1650 left for RCM, Canada Post, and several dealers. That 500 sure is a big piece of the pie. But at least they're selling for issue price, so the inflated prices don't appear to be the market value just yet. Come tomorrow, when all who wanted these coins exhaust every resource trying to get them at issue price, I'm sure the price will go up substantially and people will buy.
It looks like the RCM will do pretty good on this series. Instant sell outs, especially with the high price, are getting fewer and far apart relative to the number of coins they produce.
I'm happy with my decision not to buy these but hope to one day have them in my collection if the price becomes more reasonable. The coins themselves are awesome.
I can't say I'm a huge fan of 500 out of 2150 going to a single outside dealer when MC members would have gladly scooped them up in a hurry. As a collector, practices like this are turning me away from the hobby. The stuff that doesn't sell out, plummets on the secondary market and the stuff that rarely does, isn't available to even many mc members, let alone the general public. I find many of the RCM products hold value from the historical perspective which used to be reflected in the stories that used to be printed on the COAs. I've noticed they have be doing that less and less lately but hope they do for these coins.
All in all, great coins...... Wish I could have a set.... But still got a house to pay off.

That is 500 units he brought to Shopping show, Roger's must charge a nice percentage for selling on the network, he also probably has the 600 or so units for his own store. As you said at least he still offering the set at issue.

He also said the goose coin is selling on the secondary market for $1000 +. I wonder if that's true? Some have stated on here. Lots listed, none sold.

The coin has not sold for $1000 yet on the secondary market, that is what certain sellers are "asking". Asking price does not equal "sold" price, so Bromberg is spreading a little bit of misinformation there. Currently, the coin is selling for just $100 over issue.

Something isn't making any sense. When I was watching the coin show with Stevie boy and the lovely Natalie on the shopping channel they informed the public that there was only 6 remaining Big Coin sets for all of Canada. That was an hour ago, but when I go to their web site I can still purchase 10 or more. I wonder if he is adding some from the CCC store since the sets were selling like hot cakes. Also I got an email this morning because I purchased the set on Oct.1st and they thanked me for the purchase and informed me that I am now a VIP member and have the opportunity to by the set and get a bonus original 1967 six coin set in a mahogany display case. So I called the shopping channel and asked if I can get the bonus set since I purchased it already and now I am waiting for them to get back to me. Incidentally when I clicked on my email it took me to another web page with the Big Coin and the added bonus set. But now it is gone. huh is going on with the shopping channel. I think they're trying to renege on the offer. Nice looking set in hand apposed to just a picture.

The advance notice from CC&C that I received last week on the Big Coin series, offered the bonus proof like set. It will be sent once the series has been completed. The value is about $129.00. I took the offer. Also, once you start getting advance notices by being VIP and ordering before a certain date, CC&C will give you three times credits. This means that about $15.00 per Big coin will be credits that you can use to purchase other products. I tend to accrue these credits and usually will apply them to licenced products (example Gold Delta Coin). CC&C will not give you credits on tlicenced merchandise. Hope this clears it up. CC&C is very good to their VIP customers.

Also, did you notice Bromberg's manicured nails. And, yes I do enjoy Natalie over any other host for the coin show.

When you say there were only a certain amount left on shopping channel of the big coins, you must take into consideration people that cancel. Buyers' remorse? The big coin series is still being offered at CC&C at issue price. They now have the individual goose coin at $999.00. Great marketing strategy.

Also, most dealers now are only offering the subscription.

He probably put 300 or whatever units onto the Shopping show and the rest of the 650 or so units it's for his store, obviously he can make more selling through his own store and thus the small bonus and points. It's almost a no brainer since this is another one of his creation, he has half of the mintage.

I agree @john100

His idea. These big coin series have Bromberg written all over them. I like them. I have the 2015 and 2016 series and now 2017. Way more impressive to display.

As I mentioned earlier, there' a good chance of a cheap colour knock off coming and if so along with increased mintage will strangle the series. Most great companies never release several similar models of basically the same product.

I really hope that no coloured series of this set comes out. It would be a total shame and I would never subscribe to it. It would be a hard sell with 2150 to peddle.
