The mintage of the Goose coin is lower than the Voyageur - 2150 vs 2200.
I think most of the 1967 retro coins are bought by collectors - not flippers. The high price of $3360 per set is going to deter flippers. Too much risk involved.
Its like those Kilo and expensive gold coins - they are not bought by flippers.

If I'm not mistaken, the coloured big coin series came out about a year after the first gold plated big series. The coloured big coin series was an obvious cash grab which imo should have never happened. With that being said, I don't think the RCM will do a coloured 1967 series because this gold plated 1967 series will finish by August 2017 and that would leave only a couple months for a new coloured 1967 series to start, which would not make sense. Coins would already be changing dates to 2018 and by that time, a new series would be too late. Also, nobody would want the coloured ones when they literally just finished the gold plated set. A new listing by Coins 4 Fun for the goose dollar ($2000 CAD) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2017-Canada-....m2516.l5255

I read it as Pure Silver Dollar.

Selectively gold-plated young Queen depicted on the Goose coin levels better than King on the 1935 Voyageur Silver Dollar, imo.
Pay attention to the 'early sellers" tactics: they haven't started with small premium and raising it up, but directly set very high BIN with Best Offer option. This, "helps" coin to gain the value.

He has it listed as pure silver, than gold if you click on the description. Honest mistake I'm sure. If you take a look at his other coins for sale, you'll see his prices are grossly inflated. Some items are even much higher than RCM prices and that includes items still available at RCM.

Selling coins at a mark up above issue price when they are clearly available directly from the source is a very poor business model. If this is required by the seller to stay afloat, it's time to abandon ship.

The subscription series is still available at CC&C at issue price, if anyone's interested. Although it's presently offered to VIP members ($1000+), they're very accommodating to deal with. If this series was commissioned, it's possible very few were sold directly through RCM.

According to the sold out notices on the RCM website there were 2150 single Goose coins sold as well as 2150 Sets. Total of 4300 goose coins ? Please review and share your thoughts on this.

I don't think that is correct. There were probably less subscriptions than there were single coins.

Just a passing notice, maybe of interest for those who intend to subscribe to the series but are really only interested in the first coin, it appears you will not receive a singular box or case for the Goose SD:
"NOTE: With this subscription, the five ounce Canada Goose Silver Dollar will be sent to you displayed in a high quality wood presentation case that will include spaces for the remaining five coins in the series. The remaining coins will be sent to you as they are released every second month, encapsulated in a round capsule to be inserted directly into your presentation case..."

@wildflowerAB RCM soldout single coin of 5oz 1 dollar Silver Coin. Under coin's description Packaging: Your coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded maroon clamshell with a graphic beauty box. Also, I already talk to one dealer, he mentioned there are 2 ways of selling these 6 coins. 1. Through subscription to acquire all 6 coins + bonus wooden box 2. Buy individual package.

@justsilver Yes, what you write is my understanding as well. I was referring to previous discussions and those who considered the option of signing up for a subscription to get the first coin, the SD, then cancelling it because the single SD appears to be Sold Out but not the subscription. But it seems the coins in the subscription set are not individually boxed.
