I believe OP. Here's why.

For ebay to side with a seller over a buyer is not the norm. I realize I should have waited for more facts to be released before I came out so strongly against Penny Pincher.

I think what ticked me off was not anything he wrote in his post. It was the title. It was like the OP had been victimized. Just give the facts. Don't try to throw yourself a pity party.

What never made sense was why ebay sided with the seller. If the original listing offered combined shipping and it was not honored, then ebay should be on pennypincher's side. That's where I kind of don't believe everything I read about pennypincher's post.

Having said that, I should have waited for more information before formulating such a strong opinion.

If a seller files a UID before the buyer files an INR/SNAD or otherwise opens a listing dispute, or if the buyer never files a dispute but seller does, ebay will side with the seller.

Well this thread was not what I thought when I opened it. I lurk more than I post and have to say I am really shocked at seeing a "beat down" like this - from insulting the person screen name to implying he must be the issue since ebay sided with the seller. I have seen plenty of disagreements on here. Thus far they have been done in a very civil and informative way on this forum. But this thread... WOW. This is not a good representation of the quality of people and the reputation this site has created over the years. I feel for the OP, I see he has logged on since his post, for that I am glad as some may have just never returned.
