Well not really "Modern" per say, but I just wanted to share a recent pickup while I was dealing at a local show.

Couldn't help to pick it up and add it to my collection, esp when I own a just a ratty real one as well =)

Your note saw a lot of use in its time. I'm surprised it wasn't pulled for being a counterfeit earlier in its life. Maybe because it was the first official one dollar bill, the general public wasn't sure what to look for.

For comparison, a genuine example;

Yes it's in a holder and I don't think I have the stones to attempt to remove it from said holder. That's how I get it and that's how it'll most likely stay for the rest of its life =D

Who me? =) I collect Canadian and American errors, fancy serials. I have a softspot for the beautiful vignettes found in the earlier American notes such as the Educational Series, the Bison, the Chief.

I have a near complete district set of matched super radars that I have been trying to complete for awhile (34444443). It's actually part of my matched set of 32 notes, that someone had pointed out to me also included a near district set.

Thank you for the warm welcomes.
