@MontCollector (Travis), I tried to keep to the theme of "Secret Santa" but after your nice comment about Mrs. Secret Santa, (my wife). I had to split the beans. Following the tracking it got delayed a number of times. You must be buried in snow. Enjoy.

@bpoc1 Thank you for "spilling the beans". I was wondering who my Secret Santa was. We are enjoying the coins and I tried not to eat the chocolate all in one place...but didn't succeed. Rest assured the SBA will remain sealed for as long as we own it. I did takes pictures of whole card just didn't add to previous post. Kudos to my Mrs Clause for earning this.

Quote: Mark I am happy to hear you are okay! I was quite worried that something might have happened due to not hearing from you on here! I'm glad you like your coin, and sorry for not attaching the reason I picked it for you, but it is due to your blurb about the reason you started collecting so I thought that year might be of significance to you :) Thank you so much Apitrix! Yes, 1909 is indeed a very significant year for me, and your choice was spot on! ~ Mark

i got mine yesterday.
1982 George Washington half in original mint packaging and a nice "Brilliant Uncirculated" 2007 George Washington dollar graded by NGC! I appreciate the theme. lol
Reading the information card I learned that the half was the first commem minted since 1954 and the first 90% minted since 1964. Seems I have a bit more reading to do now. lol
Thank you again and happy new year!

Got mine today! Really happy, thanks a lot to my SS. Will post pictures later: 2016 Holiday Commemorative coin set; three crisp $1 bills (Confederation and 1973,) and 3 large 1 cents (1901; 1909; 1919). Love 'em, they are my first large cents. I may eventually start a set!

AND -- my gift came today (or, I got it out of the PO box, so it might have been there sooner). It is a very cool proof set from the Cook Islands. I have no coins from there, so this is a real treat. Also, there were three bills, one from Costa Rica, one from Zambia, and I am having trouble identifying the third one, the small one with the bear. Can someone help? Pictures not too good as all I had was my iPad, but I hope you can see how shiny the coins and how crisp the bills. Thanks so much, Jarred. Happy new year. Jan

Secret Santa delivered a while ago but I have been so overwhelmed the past week I just today had a chance to swing by and pick up my mail. Thank you thank you thank you Davec13 for a wonderful array of gifts. Beautiful Walker Half, Beautiful silver ingot, a series 1899 $1 Silver Certificate (going to need to research that one, a most interesting bill) and a Capital Plastics "Proof Set" holder, which I need for one of my proof sets (and I happen to collect old Capital Plastic holders). What a great gift and very appreciated. Pictures to follow when I can get out the scanner.
