I am also still waiting for mine. I need two more $20-4-$20 or $25-4-$25 coins to fill my 28-coin case and then I am done with RCM coins.

Now, when we are really smart, we will grab it directly as it'll appear for sale. And will be ready for: increased mintage, different specifications, delays - so nothing will be "unexpected surprise"

This is what I got today from the mint
"These coins have been on backorder for production issues. As we work to ensure a quality product is released, sometimes the date of release is pushed back. Unfortunately we have no control over production issues, but rest assured we are working diligently to have the coins shipped as quickly as possible. We thank you for your patience and sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping the coin to you. Once they ship an email will be sent to you to advise you of such."

^ I guess they had a few coins that did NOT develop milk spots within 24h of production. So now they're figuring out how to ensure they will... ;)

I contacted the mint about not providing tracking numbers on shipped orders this is the response I got: "Thank you for contacting the Royal Canadian Mint regarding traking numbers. We have been experiencing technical difficulties and have been working diligently to fix this situation. We apologize for the inconvenience caused." I guess the "Glitch" is getting bigger and bigger causing production issues and not allowing them to post tracking numbers. When will they call in PEST CONTROL to get rid of these BUGS?

It's still 2x over issue though, I haven't seen any sell for just issue price on ebay, all the ones that have sold were above issue price.

3 hrs 30 mins till the end - zero bids.
The situation is like this: This is one of the coins, that people couldn't get for issue price, the coin is not bad, so it popular. But doesn't have this level of popularity, where people are bidding. Sure, the situation will be different, if it will accumulate some couple of dozens bids.

The coin posted above sold for $325 with only one bidder. Several reasons for the low price: -seller chose auction style listing over Buy it Now. Buy it Now sells it for a lot more, usually $399 and over. -the market is flooded with coins; at least 20 are available for sale on ebay. Contrast that with the 1st coin, the voyageur coin, that never had more than 6-8 listings at its peak. All thanks to flippers who got hold of the coin due to RCM's lack of enforcement of 1 per customer. Given that many buyers have yet to receive their order there may be more coins to flood the market. -Aside from MC members, the general public don't even know of the existence of the coin. So demand for the coin is limited to MC members who were not able to get it from the RCM. With 2500 mintage, there is plenty of coins to go around.

You right, MoneyPenney. The coin is still popular, but increased supply, and movement of the supply to the secondary market, by flooding it, makes the buyers more picky. If we said about Voyageur, that the coin in "collector's hands", here many coins in re-seller's hands..... In addition, the factor "first in series", incepted into people's mind, causing even the collectors (some), to keep the first, but to let go to the second (resell or not to buy at all). Btw, there is a second auction will end today: Item ID = 351919556441, Current bid CAD 290, the auction will end in 11 hours.

Definitively, no big interest. People weren't ready to pay more than CAD 295. Yes, only 295. Profit for the re-seller? Yes, still some. But what about half year from now?

@Silveroid
It is nearing Christmas and I suspect that some people don't have the extra cash to purchase coins for themselves. Will probably pick up after the holidays.

Selling for $295 is ok but after fees the seller is looking at only $70 profit. That is a far cry from the 4x or 5x issue price we see for the Voyageur coin. Higher mintage, unenforced limits, this is the result you get.
Looking at the bigger picture, is it worth to be a higher tier MC, spending $5000+, just to get first crack at a coin that you can get for $100 over issue?

@MoneyPenney RCM website messed up big time. Reps would only allow one for higher tiers; yet, anyone could have ordered as many as they wanted the second day. Pathetic!!! This is why so many are available on ebay because of RCM website mess. The reps are a completely separate entity from the web. The Voyageur is in collectors' hands while the Library of Parliament coin ended up in resellers' hands. What a disaster.
