The Assay clip is PSD. PMD if it was done before it left the mint. But these examples were probably destroyed. But this is also done to a coin, not to a planchet and then struck. We have already determined the OP's coin was an incomplete planchet before it was struck.

The definition of an assay clip given in the reference I cited above does not appear to be PSD:
