Great date but pretty worn. Only 1 1/2 years detecting and coin experience, but I think this may be my best find so far.

That coin is in good shape considering that it may have been in the ground for over a century.

I'm starting to second guess whether that is a worn out O mint mark or if the toning coincidentally made it look like the letter O is there. Any thoughts?

That or the dirt that may have been "rubbed" off. They are definitely recent scratches.
