2008 Coins Found In Circulation

yes I stayed home Monday and Tuesday, my sister had it and gave it to her friend at a sleepover, then came home and gave it to me... Didn't know I had it till before the game started. Missed the goal and pitch invader... I'm better now thanks

Found a few $2 now, and 20c, but nothing else yet. Anyone seen a scout dollar from circulation yet?

The Obv was unintentionally struck using the Die for the 10¢ for that year. As the 10¢ is a slightly smaller coin, this resulted in a smaller obv, and either a partial or in some cases full double rim around the coin.

Like most RAM's mistakes and errors they are reluctant to admit or divulge anything. We have several other "mules" that have surfaced, most are very low in number, especially the very early decimal ones, sometimes one with one example thus found. Apart from a few double headed and double tailed mules, we also have:

1975 20c with Fiji reverse (RAM did strike circulation Fiji 20c in 1975)
1975 50c with Fiji reverse (RAM did strike circulation Fiji 50c in 1975)
1977 50c with Coat Of Arms (only commemorative Silver Jubilee reverse was official 1977 issue)
1988 5c with Cook Islands obverse (RAM did strike Cook Islands 5c for Mint Sets in 1988)
1988 50c with Coat Of Arms (only commemorative Bicentenary reverse was official 1988 issue)
2005 20c Proof with Platypus reverse in 2006 proof set (only commemorative 60th Anniv. of End of WW2 reverse was official 2005 proof issue)
2005 $1 Proof with Mob of Roos reverse in 2006 proof set (only commemorative 60th Anniv. of End of WW2 reverse was official 2005 proof issue)
2006 2c Silver Proof with wrong effigy of Queen (the Fine Silver Proof set had the 1966 young effigy to mark 40 years but this 2c has the current older looking effigy used for 2006 standard and gold proof sets).

I have been told of others that may exist and still to be found.

another 20c yesterday

Only seen 20c in change in Newcastle, although dont have time to go through too many. Desparate to find a $1 scout without having to go through ebay!
