Up until the Scout coin started showing up, the 2008 MOR was reasonably common. It seems to have dropped in numbers now, I get about 5 - 10 Scout coins to 1 2008 MOR.

Oddly, I'm getting no 2008 coins ever since I picked up the 2008 5 cents a few weeks ago!
Btw, there is a new mint report on the RAM site and the mintage seems to be awfully low! Reason is due to the Mint's renovation and I suspect the high metal prices could have affected the Mint's purchasing power.

Hi all, seen only a few 5 cent and only 1 50 cent 2008 coins in Bris of late.
A lot of $2.00, as for nancy's numbers for the 2 $1.00 coins, a fair few 10 Cents and heaps of 20 cents.

All 2008 coins now showing up in Brissy. The only one that's still low in numbers is the MOR. Getting several 50¢ each day, so hang in there farnby, you should start seeing them any day now.
Scout $1 are in plague proportions now. They outnumber the MOR by around 30 to 1.
2008 $50 & $20 also becoming quite common.

G'day, I thought that you blokes were pulling my leg about the 2008 MoR:
I got my first one today. Fittingly, at an Oz Day celebration.
And on Saturday evening, at another Oz Day function, I got a CoF $5, in not-too-bad condition.
I've got plenty of Scouts, and a few 2008 20-cents. Not much else, but.

2008 coins situation in Brissy unchanged. Everything except 2008 MOR now plentiful, only getting 2-3 a week.

This is bizarre, I'm getting a fair bit of 2006 coins, some nice uncirculated 5 cents but otherwise, 2008 coins are unusually scarce in my place at the moment.

G'day, I've noticed near-unc 2006 five-cent lately, also.
got $100 of $1 from the bank earlier this month: found -
nine scouts;
and 3 x 2008 MoR
Most of the Scouts that I find now are well-dinged.

I've found about 20-30 '08 20cent coins in circulation in the last week! They're just about the only ones that I've come across  |
