Is There An Error On The 1968 Dime Missing The 8

chrismeyers New Member Canada 3 Posts	Posted 11/09/2016 10:28 pm I found this dime from 1968 and it's missing the 8 if you look at it close with a jeweler's glass you can see a faint 8.I google it and didn't find anything about an 8 missing .here is a pic.if this was an error would this be a really rare coin or does this happen a lot. Is it nickel or silver? Check with a magnet. No one but me wanted it and I only had to pay $3 US and it was in an ANACS holder VF30 Details (Cleaned). I personally like grease filled errors -- its one of the few errors that I can find that others have overlooked when I search a hoard of coins. Report this Post to the Staff
