I REALLY want to see some Standing Liberty quarters!

And so, I give you the 14 Days of Standing Liberty quarter Dollars!! (Act IV since we've done this before but not for two years!!)

Here's how it works:

We assign each year of SLQ minting to a particular day. On each of those days, we all post pictures of our Standing Liberty quarter (of that day's year), for 14 days until we see 'em all!!

Here's the schedule:

5 December: Post your 1916 SLQs (How many does the CCF Family own?
6 December: 1917 (All types, mint marks)
7 December: 1918
8 December: 1919
9 December: 1920
10 December: 1921
11 December: 1923
12 December: 1924
13 December: 1925
14 December: 1926
15 December: 1927
16 December: 1928
17 December: 1929
18 December: 1930

This is definitely NOT a long series but has one of the best designed coins (IMO, of course!!) the United States ever developed!!

So get your collections out, get the beauties photographed and start posting away on the 5th!!

I just broke out my book set, either my eyesight has gone, or the dates have disappeared from some of my coins? Seriously, I was going to take some pictures, and I can't hardly read many of the dates without magnification. It's been many years since I looked my set, but I don't remember many of my dates being this weak!

I'd personally like to see a new Days of Liberty Seated at some point, not to get off track here. Just a suggestion.

Oh, I'd call that right on track sir.

I am dying for that thread to emerge again considering the collection of dimes I own. I love showing those puppies off especially for the newcomers.

For what it is worth, there have been four Seated themed threads (one was strictly half dollars). The last was in April 2015.

Personally, I love the Seated Liberty design. As the "Days of..." thread GeneralissiMoe, I would just re-run the Seated Liberty (particularly the Half Dollar!) coins every "Days of..." thread.

But JBuck, my favorite Moderator, won't let me.

You know you love the variety.

Then there are those Days of threads that just will not quit...

How about Days of the JRCC? or Days of LSCC? If you change the name, you might fool jbuck and he won't see it coming until its too late

Oh, did someone say Seateds? I might be getting a 41-O H10, a 51-O H10, a 76 quarter, and a 59-S half soon. Happy 180th to the Seated design!
