Oriole,
I grew up in a neighborhood of half acre lots or larger and got between $1-$2.50 per lawn, depending on size. Lots of mowing went into each of those coins. And the gas expense was killing me at 35 cents a gallon.

I've always liked these beat up cc's (1880 & 1882), but I like the 1882 Virginia & Truckee Railroad freight bill signed by Yerington better.

I just paged through this whole thread again. It is difficult to appreciate what Early Turban and Bill Jones have, until you look at what is available on the bay. There are VERY few of these for sale that aren't details coins.
