Need info on this coin found in a shoe box. Year,country,denomination and metal content if possible. Its non magnetic and it might be Korean. Its as big as a USA Morgan dollar.

Check the weight and dimensions against what's on Fuzzy's link because I saw many fakes for sale.

The dollar was brought home by a Korean war veteran when he severed in the area. All of you did a great job in helping out here and many thanks. Just a note to you all I will be posting a few more items soon from this veteran and I myself are helping him with his stuff and mainly paper money from that erra.

@chadcoins, not sure that we were super-helpful on this one. We just see so many fakes of this coin. Would be glad to see others! Also, please thank your buddy for his service to our country!

Thanks are in order. My grandfather served in late WWII and Korea in three branches. I'm sure you'll find some good info here that will help everyone. Please, post your others.
