Check out the Franklin !! I believe it is a dcam. the luster and depth of the coin is just incredible. I also picked up a 62 proof set in a sealed envelope. I opened it verrrrry carefully and it is a nice set, and it does have a blue toned nickle. But the set in the plastic holder is the best.

NICE FIND!!!
I agree---it looks DCAM.
I sent off a NICE DCAM to ANACS (1962 also) and they were hard on it...it came back PF64CAMEO...if it was worth more I would sent it off to NGC as it would come back higher grade and better CAMEO IMO.

Grovey,

Nice set. If you plan on keeping it in that capital plastic I would get some acetate and seal the edges and then take some Lemon Pledge to the plastic holder to remove most of the scratches.

The fact is, Grovey, that you did what I should be doing more of: checking the pawn shops. There are plenty in this area, but I always tend to discount them in my searches because I always think everything is overpriced. (which it probably is) But, I forget that the good coins are where you find them, and there's always something to be cherrypicked if you keep your eyes open. The pawn shop owners, antique shop owners etc, often don't know what they have. They may have a RedBook, but they probably don't know what a cameo proof is, what a doubled die is, an overdate, and so on!
Rest in Peace

Very nice. Wish I was that lucky. I have been in very few pawn shops, but have never seen coins there.
