2002 Great Britain $2 coin - Commonwealth Games commemorative. Four versions of this coin were made, for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland: the designs were identical, apart from the flag. This is the Scottish version:

2002 France 1/4 Euro... The roots of this coin are pretty admirable. A contest was held in which over 30,000 French schoolchildren participated. The winning design came from a school in Bort les Orgues (hope I spelled that right), which is located in central France. A bronze and silver version were issued...
