The 1831 Half Dime AU50 in an ANACS blue holder was nothing special...I thought. Sat in the inventory for a while, and I let it go for a fair price. The buyer Rick Fortin sounded familiar. He only has the second best Registry Sets of all time. WOW!

Rick probably saw something he likes.

How about some pictures of the coin you sold to him?

Here's the listing. Selling price was $177.

He said it looked nicer in hand. You made me a bit nervous when you said he saw something he liked. I rechecked all the varieties, and it looks like a fairly common LM-6. Wouldn't be the first time that I didn't do a through attribution.
