1939 S on pg 10 spruuu is type 1 steps reverse. This is a great thread. Here's a post I made long ago which might help you out in cherry picking the 1939 nickels. http://goccf.com/t/82794#677080

Thanks everyone for taking a look. I have six more 40s upgrades on the way from the same seller. For the previous three, the 1940-S has a reverse rim-to-rim bisecting die crack: On the 1941-D "FS" nickel, my vote is nay, but here is a closeup:

Quote: I took some pics tonight, so here are the six new upgrades for the album. Some are better than others, but they are all much better than what they are replacing: Fantastic!

I have five more big upgrades on the way. Unfortunately, the 39-D and 42-D are standing in my way of posting a complete BU page 1! Those two really surprised me with the current prices.

I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's Jeffersons. Here's the latest addition to my proof set, a 1951 in PR-67+. Many of the 51 proofs are not well struck, but this one is very attractive.

Thanks, everyone. Here's a picture of the reverse of the 1951. It didn't grade as a cameo, but there's a little hint of frost.

I see a little cameo there, but I guess not enough to get the grade. You mentioned you were putting together a proof set. I would like to see them, but probably in a new topic of your own so things don't get confused here.
