This isn't really an update (I'll have one in a day or two), but I realized I never posted the 1942-P Type 2 proof I got here. I tried to get better pics tonight and I'm not sure if I succeeded or not:  I may end up getting the '50 and '51 proofs slabbed because the price difference between that and raw is negligible. These look great in hand, but the camera/lighting is picking up every die polishing line and LDS effect. The '83-P looks much better in hand. For anyone wondering, the reason these were purchased separately is because there were no UNC Mint sets issued in '82 and '83, so BU coins are more difficult to come by and come with a higher price tag.
