This isn't really an update (I'll have one in a day or two), but I realized I never posted the 1942-P Type 2 proof I got here. I tried to get better pics tonight and I'm not sure if I succeeded or not: I may end up getting the '50 and '51 proofs slabbed because the price difference between that and raw is negligible.

Haha, thanks for the banner, TNG. The update coming soon will be the BU 1982-3's we talked about. I expect them by Thursday.

spruett001- Great looking 42-P. Unless I missed it, what grade did they give it?

Quote: I hope they are the best ever. Well, I just got around to taking some pics of the 82s and 83s. I feel like every time I take pictures, it's a brand new experiment and the results are always different. These look great in hand, but the camera/lighting is picking up every die polishing line and LDS effect. The '83-P looks much better in hand. Anyway, here they are: So, concerning the different 1982 reverses, it looks like the P is a reverse of '77 and the D is reverse of '82. That gives me a great comparison of the two. Now there are just a few 1960s coins to upgrade. I'm pretty excited about delving into some BU '50s and back!

For anyone wondering, the reason these were purchased separately is because there were no UNC Mint sets issued in '82 and '83, so BU coins are more difficult to come by and come with a higher price tag.
