I know folks get a lot of DDO questions, but this one really has me excited. Let me know if you all think this is a slight DD or damage. I am really hoping for the former. Congratulations - What a great find - I still have not found one of those 1972 DDO's and I've been doing this for a year now. |

I have only been into US coins for about a year as well. :) So to give you all an idea of the extent of my search: I searched through several thousand one cents here on base in Korea and ended up with 3kg (~1000 cents) of 1959-1981s (and Copper '82s). I was going through them to fill out a book when I found the DDO.I am very excited about this find and it will stay with me forever. Good luck everyone! |

The die scratches across 'GOD' was the clue for me as to being that die. Not all the 003's had those die scratches though.
