I don't really believe in the "do not clean" policy of coin collectors since I will probably never sell it but I would prefer that it doesn't look like I picked it up from the garbage the black residue makes all details hard to read ... thank you ! Better to leave a little residue than harshly clean (some here argue against cleaning altogether). Remember this guy was been hanging around for 700 years--be gentle with him!
