Quote: Is that a 70 I see?!? Quote: Yep. I may have a couple more hidden up my sleeve. I think if darth and I combined our Ikes we could crack the top 10 in the registry.
No doubt. Any PR70 Ike is going to significantly increase the rating for sure- that, and any MS69 silver business issue. As far as I know, davec13 is the only one on this forum who owns a PR70 Ike. I just wish there was a TrueView image of that beauty. Thanks for sharing!

daviscfad are the spots in the photo on the coin, or did you have dust on your lens. If that's lens dust I only see that on hit under the L. It's a solid coin.

Actually its all dust or lint, even under the L. I sent it through conservation to get the water spots off. I look at a lot of ikes, and its by far the best 72 ive seen in hand, not photo. Darth, that coin is for sale on ebay by ike forum member Andy

Quote: Sadly, this one isn't mine, but I wanted you guys to see the glory of an MS69 silver Ike in case you hadn't before. Behold: I've held a MS69, but couldn't get myself to drop the $3000 for it. I'm happy enough with my cac MS68 for way less than the 69. Working on a deal now to try and pick up a couple more 70's. Fingers crossed.

Quote:Darth, that coin is for sale on ebay by ike forum member Andy Cool! Yeah, I saw it on ebay a couple of days ago. Seeing that PR70 Ike reminded me of it. The highest I will ever hope to get is an MS68 CAC like davec13. Quote: Working on a deal now to try and pick up a couple more 70's. Fingers crossed. I just got around to photographing this '72 Ike, which was part of an Ikestravagaza Christmas gift from Cascade. I sure wanted to get it in before the day ran out.
