I am in line to buy your book as well, Commems.

At first I wondered - have you tried lighting a match with it?
I assume not.

Then I wondered more seriously if there is evidence of it having been used to store or strike matches. I would think the sulfur or other chemicals in the matches might leave distinctive marks or coloration.
