What the Barber series lacks in ahem..cough.., design beauty, usually regains stature to collectors (at least to this one) when they see a true mint state original untarnished example of the Barber half dollar. |

No way is the Barber a feminine coin, otherwise it would be a Barbette or Barby.

Has no one mentioned Liberty nickels? To me they are hands down the worst design on any classic U.S. coin. |

The V nickel was the first "really old" coin I had as a kid collector, so I'm kind of partial to them from a nostalgia perspective. |
