New Collector From California!

Hello, world! I found this forum whilst looking for coins or learning more about coins! I'm pretty amateur at this stuff, and amateur is an overstatement! I know basics, but I want to further expand some knowledge! More on about introducing myself.
My name is Nicolas, and as writing this, I'm 16, and I first got my coin fascination when I was about 6 or 7 years old. My grandfather had a coin collection, a lot of nifty stuff that his grandfather owned, then his father owned, a lot of really cool post-civil war coins, late 1800s, just overall really neat stuff. I remember sitting with him as a youngling, as he told me all about them; at the time, obviously, I had no clue what an 1889 Morgan was but I did recognize and pick up his passion. I don't own any of those coins, my grandmother does now, but I mostly like to collect pennies! My best possession is a 1964 memorial Lincoln I own. Doesn't sound too special, but I found it in the worst possible location to find an old coin- at the bottom of an empty 3 Liter bottle of soda, surrounded by another 6 inches of coins! The special thing about it? It still has a really nice shine to it! I've attached a picture below, tell me what you think about it!
