I posted this coin in another thread and through the help of another individual on another forum was able to verify that is was a die clash. I am interested in knowing how much this error effects value on this coin and what kind of grade you would give it. Thanks in advance, Blair

I do not think it would make EF, but probably a high VF (with a weakly struck obverse). Maybe VF-30 Details? Details because of the chop marks, but the obverse could have also been cleaned—it appears much shinier than the reverse. I am unsure what the value would be though.
Not a bad coin at all. It's actually a really nice example of a circulated world Trade coin with alot of history behind each one of those marks. But I agree, VF Details sound about right and the obverse does look like it's been cleaned. I've seen examples like this one go anywhere from $50- $100 depending on the market and audience at the time.
