SSuperDdave, tell me please what you did with my last picture?
Now I see correct uncolored paper instead blueish. It's cool in theory, but funny that I saw before differents in color on some coins in real life as in my last photo but not now.
Probably I must to do calibrate of lights which is unavailable to me.

I imported it into the Gimp and backed off both the Blue and Cyan channels until I reached a "white" I liked in the bright bottom center area. Here's the coin with only the Cyan channel backed off:

Here it is with only the blue backed off:

You'll note the copper changed very little either way. Now, if your light were weighted towards the yellow/red rather than blue/cyan, it's the copper which would have been off rather than the silver-colored coins.

Thanks Ray. It was f/8 and magnification less than 1:1, so it is not Macro for my sensor.

Interesting lens combos and results. I'd be interested in hearing more about them, but this is probably not the forum for those discussions. Can you post these over on the Photomacrography Equipment forum? There are several folks over there who are very interested in these combo lens applications, and have been doing similar work.

Thanks for the info justwalking. How about some pics of your setup with this lens? How does it do with coins relative to depth of field, working distance, etc? Thanks.
