The die was heavily polished on the Motto towards the outer edge of the die. Note on TRUST the very weak 'u' on TRUST and the height of the devices are lower. This happens because the field was so polished off the die. So when this polishing happens it removes the devices height and wideness of the coins struck. Note the first 'T' on TRUST. You can see how the bottom of the 'T' is wider than the top.
