I think adding individual pics of each note will help potential buyers decide on your notes. The current group picture shows the smudging marks clearly, especially on the top and bottom note. Your description uses the term "crisp", but doesn't mention "uncirculated" or "almost uncirculated". Based on that, look for buying decisions and any offers to be based on AU prices. Good luck and I hope the offers and purchases roll in for you!

One other thing I noticed is you have them listed in the "Other Small Size Notes" catagory. By all rights they probably should be listed in the "National Bank Notes" catagory. It probably wouldn't make much difference though as most buyers search by series date (1929 + National Bank Note) anyway.

Are the four notes listed the best centered notes of your group of 17, and I'm curious about the offers you've received so far.

Steve, I'm no genius, but the four notes in the ebay listing are not from the group of 17 that the OP originally posted about. They appear to be from a separate group. Thank goodness for serial numbers! (I think the OP also mentioned he had other Chicago 1929 C notes, too.)

Hi Everyone, Westernsky--thank you for the feedback. I will be making those changes as suggested.
SteveinTampa--These notes for posted for sale aren't from the group of 17. I have 28 all together. 17 consecutive, 4 consecutive, 2 consecutive and 5 singles but relatively close to the other serial #'s.
Thanks

Because of the high face value I would test the waters by selling not more than two consecutive notes as one lot, and then a few minutes later another two or three consecutives but as singles spaced a few minutes apart and explain in the description of each that "This is the first(second or third) of three consecutive notes. All my auctions start at one cent, free shipping and no reserve. Good Luck.

I forgot to add, see what does better. My experience is that the singles will do better.

The reason I decided to sell this as a lot is my understanding that a 1929 $100 Chicago note is common. But to have 17 in sequential order is scarce. It certainly drew my attention even though I do not collect currencies. I think the appeal is there offering it as a lot. But we'll have to wait and see if this auction will end on a good note (no pun intended) Thanks to all your support and feedback.

Good luck! I think the group of 17 will end up somewhere between 150-200 $ each when all is said and done.

That sounds about right to me. The Chicago note is common and now apparently even more so ( ). Big investment for raw notes that, even after grading fees, could end up AU.
