My three uncirculated Boys Town commemorative coins arrived today. Overall, I think the design of each coin is effective in telling its part of the Boys Town story and I'm pleased with the Mint's technical production of the coins - they all appear to be good strikes w/o noticeable dings or scratches.

One semi-interesting note, the COA for the gold half eagle lists the composition of the coin as "90% gold, 6% silver, Balance Copper." This is a slight change from recent years which had listed the composition less specifically as "90% Gold, 10% Alloy."

The Boys Town web site (www.boystown.org) has lots of great information for those with interest.

Following are images of each coin. Note: I have sized them to maintain their actual proportions.

Well shown commems ... and I have no doubt that many will enjoy this 2017 release and rightfully so.

Great history coupled with compelling design should go a long ways towards making this a treasured USA commemorative.

I think the design of the silver dollar is outstanding in its simplicity.

It would not surprise me to see it in a couple of years as a candidate for "Most Inspirational" coin in the annual Krause "Coin of the Year" awards program.

I couldn't afford the gold coins, so I bought the silver proof, silver UNC, and the UNC half dollar.

The tracking number shows they are "Out for delivery". I cannot wait to get home and see if they are as good as Commems.
