Just been wanting to help keep this thread going.

2 $2's at Beck's. Got a bottle of Vanilla Coke and a Vanilla Bun chocolate bar. It was $4 even.

I picked up a stack of 50 crisp unc $2 bills at my bank. Held on to them for months because they're so pretty. Now it's time to spend them!

5 lottery tix at a neighborhood grocery store = $10... Clerk was a young man in his 20s. Was excited to see the notes: "Hey $2 bills! Nice" he said.

Clerk was a pleasant woman who looked at the notes and said "Ooh, $2 bills!".

PS: I don't usually get 5 tix at a time but the jackpot is 500 mill so... who knows :)

So, that pesky lottery jackpot is getting bigger and bigger. And I'm a gamblin' man so...

Clerk was pleasant but quiet. She didn't say anything about the Jeffersons but definitely took her time before putting them in the drawer.

Then, another batch of TJs at another gas station on my way home. So 5 x 2 = $10 again...

Again, the clerk was pleasant but quiet. On my way out the door I noticed she still had the notes in her hand.

I try to spread the notes all over town, never using them at the same shop. In fact, when I buy lottery tix I always hit different places each week. Can't say my method is particularly lucky so far. But if and when I do hit that jackpot I'll let ya know :)

BTW: That's a total of 10 x 2 for $20 in Jeffersons today so...
