1907 Indian Head cent. Lots of red with some frostier RB/BN areas. Lots of small nicks and dings. What am I dealing with here? AU? AU details? Lower MS? Cleaned? There is luster in-hand.

It might have been lightly cleaned at one time . MS-61 Details .

MS61. color is tough on this one. could make RB since only 5% red is required. this will probably be your call as you have the coin in hand and judge the color better

Color is dull and muted combined with numerous nicks and dings indicating mishandling. The original red/brown colors have been stripped away, compare it to the 1908 next to it in the Dansco, which has great color.

With the new pics, I believe this coin has been cleaned. Color looks an un-natural red. AU-53 details.
