@pepactonius, amazingly gorgeous coin. Now I know what my Large Cent looked like on the day it was minted back in 1820 (perhaps minus the die crack).   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

This was presumably a Randall Hoard coin, which had lots of high-grade samples. Legend has it that a keg of these were found under the porch of a railroad station in the 1860s. |
