Could be MS65 - I don't see it being a 66.

It could go in the book now and get graded later. That's what I'd opt for anyway.

This Morgan appears to be a gem and might even have a shot at 66. Hard to differentiate one point from images. Since it's a common date and would likely grade 65 I'd be inclined to forgo the $50 certification cost and leave it raw, at least for now.

Thanks all for the replies. It was labeled 65. There are a few faint hairlines left of the nose and lips, but I feel it would go 65 for sure. Reverse has very clean almost deep mirrored fields. It will be sent in someday. AG

Leave as is. The most gem mint state Morgan out there. Not worth submitting unless it's a 100% guarantee it'll grade a 66

It could make MS-64 or MS-65 if it were to be submitted. Oddly enough, the grading services can be tough of the 1881-S dollars because there are so many nice ones.
