I came across this coin recently. I didn't find much info on the internet, except it had a bit lower mint for the year. I was wondering if there any more knowledgeable greek coin collectors from this period that could provide more info. If the coin has much value in today's market. Feedback appreciated.

They're rare and desirable, though I think I've seen several forgeries, too.

Your photo is unclear but I grade it between F and VF.

Amazing coin! Krause catalog lists it at $125 in Fine and $375 in VF.

Appreciate the feedback guys. Mods thanks for shifting the thread into right forum, my error.

It's actually part of this set of Greek coins I had. For me I think the 1847 here is the most desirable no? Based on the rarity.

I like the 1848 5 Lepta as well, I think it grades well.
