I don't know if it is accurate, but I have heard that the mint is going to release the price as 199.95. No household or mintage limit information yet.

I certainly hope that is the price. Would be easier on my budget.

Just going by the 2014 Kennedy set, which was also 225k and did not sell out until well over a year later, I think anything north of 100k is unnecessary. How about 22,500?

I think 50k would be a good number for this one. Any thing more and it won't sell out.

I'd be happy with 50k. At $200 and assuming there's a HHL, that should give anyone who wants one a chance to get one from the Mint. Quote: How about 22,500? I'd also be happy with this. Just would absolutely have to make sure I was ready to go at 11:50 Eastern.

Quote: I saw these medals at the mint table at the Long Beach show today. I have to say I wasn't planning on getting them as they're medals, not coins, but I thought they were very impressive looking. I'm a buyer now. I also saw these at the Long Beach show and the reverse proof was really stunning. They were displayed inside a rotating square glass display so taking a really good pic worth posting may have been futile. One of the US mint employees guess-timated the price to be between $239-$269, however, he didn't really have that tone of certainty when he said it. Something he did mention was that the proof version in the set is different than the one that came out by itself earlier this year. Something bout a different mint or strike.

The proof from earlier this year was from Philly. The one in this set is from San Francisco. Philadelphia Reverse Proof, San Francisco Proof, West Point Enhanced Uncirculated, and Denver Uncirculated.
