january1may Pillar of the Community Russian Federation 5172 Posts	Posted 04/21/2017 07:30 am Um... good luck. There were a lot of denominations in the Papal States series of the late 18th century. Just this single page shows denominations of 1-18, 20-22, 24-30, 32, 33, 35-37, 40-42, 44, 48-50, 55, 60, 70, 75, 80, 85, 89, 90, 95, 99, 100, 300, 450, 500, 1000, and 1500 scudi. This page has 23 and 39 scudi (both numbers missing from the list above). Here is the missing 19. In principle, they made every value from 1 to 100, but right now I don't have time to search for more pics (though it shouldn't be too hard). Report this Post to the Staff

My favorite is the Colonial New York 5 Shillings and 4 Pence, equal to two thirds of a Spanish Milled Dollar. Glad I didn't have to do all the conversions they had to do. The updated list now includes: - The Fiji $7 note found by Arkie, - The colonial NY 5s4d note shown by Dave L and his $1.50 note, - the notes from the Italian thread , plus - some more colonial US and Continental Congress issues (most from here, one from here, and some, such as the 55 dollar note, are shown by Wikipedia), - Wittenburg 99, 199, and 299 pfennig notgeld (they can be seen among the notes in this lot), and also some other related ones (i.e. I found out that only one note out of a series was shown and there were more strange ones issued), like these 7, 8, and 9 paoli from the Roman Republic [1798-1800]: There probably are many more follow-up possibilities among what is already listed. except for the Yugoslav note (that one's photoshopped), the Ukrainian ones (those seem to be bond coupons), the German Goldmark ones (I still don't know what they are), this one (I cannot find how many Schillings were there to one Reichsthaler in that state at that time, so I am not Poland / Bialystok local issues of 1915: - 20 mark = 12 roubles - 10 mark = 6 roubles - 3 mark - 1.80 roubles Images: one, two, three. And then, we have this 0.91 RM: Seen in color here. Printed in 1938-1939, issued in 1945, circulated for just over 5 years until 1950. The only undated note from Banque de France. One has to wonder what's the story behind it.
